The manor-like estate of the boarding kennel Maier is located about 65 km southeast of Munich, secluded in an idyllic countryside. The generous 30,000 sqm compound with its lush trees offers its four-legged guests optimal accommodation. There is a lot of room here for romping around on fenced meadows and areas from 800 sqm to 2000 sqm.

The wonderful surroundings provide a lot of options for walks on numerous and diverse trails. Even in bad weather there is no room for boredom, because our 800 sqm all-weather hall also offers enough room for indoor activities like games and play and training programmes.

What makes our concept so unique is the fact that we – the Maier- Breitsamer family and the entire team – create a basic trust between animal and handler with our individual, sensitive and empathetic approach. We put the well-being of each individual animal front and centre. We and our team spend a lot of time on this task with a sense of great responsibility, personal devotion and tender loving care. The exuberance of our four-legged guests in seeing us again is always a powerful confirmation of our unique approach. Individually, we are always guided by the wishes of the owners and the needs of their four-legged darlings.

Dog School Maier-Breitsamer

We have been the leader in training dogs to become obedient family dogs and companions since 1946. As founder of one of the first private dog schools in Europe, we have gained extensive experience in the handling of dogs and the professional training of all breeds. Our spacious training and boarding facilities are ideally designed for accommodating and training dogs and are seen as exemplary in all of Germany.

We offer various options in training your dog with competent expertise, decades of experience and a great love for the animal:

  Boarding school training of your dog

The Hutel Maier

Hotel for business travellers with dog

Any dog owner who goes on a business trip to attend a trade fair, conference or other event in the Munich area will of course ask himself: "Where can I leave my four-legged friend while I have other things to do?" We – the Hutel Maier with our adjoining dog holiday home – offer your dog relaxing hours or even days while you can keep your appointments without a care. When you return to our hotel in the evening after a stressful working day, your four-legged friend will be waiting for you in your hotel room, completely content and well cared for. All rooms have shower/toilet facilities and satellite TV. The Comfort category rooms feature an additional living room area. Breakfast is included.
